Overview

Under Australian consumer law we are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind. You can choose a refund or exchange if an item has a major problem.

This is when the item:
Has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it
Is unsafe
Is significantly different from the sample or description
Doesn’t do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can’t be easily fixed.
Alternatively, you can choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any drop in value. If the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If it is not repaired in a reasonable time you can choose a refund or replacement. Please keep your proof of purchase – e.g. you receipt


Warranty

Items which are in question of being faulty by the customer are subject to our initial inspection and will be forwarded on to our supplier for a full warranty claim.

Please Note: Normal wear and tear of mechanical components, misuse, neglect, mechanical impact, water damage voids any warranties, expressed or implied

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be applied to your original method of payment, within 7 business days.


Exchanges

Exchanges will be evaluated on a case by case basis, in some cases if the item(s) hasn’t been used or damaged a refund may be given. Please email josh@customalloywelding.com.au


Shipping returns

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Afterpay

Afterpay refunds will incur a %6 fee to cover afterpay fees
