*Barra/sohc clutch fan kit – in development*
The plan is to keep it simple and cost effective using as many oem parts with min custom parts, Ea pump has been selected because it has the longer bearing pack being a factory fan pump. A new impeller will be used to correct the rotation for the barra belt setup and the zd30 clutch and fan has been selected for easy to find and cheap plus being the correct CCW rotation. The overall length of the barra with fan from the bellhousing face to the front of the clutch works out around 850mm the fan is 500mm dia.
The ea has a larger shorter inlet which may suit some conversion but will have option for a welded extension the barra hose size and position. The metal hose for the rear will have a bung welded on to be able to use the standard metal pipe or have option for a welded outlet threaded jic etc.
